
Roasting transforms radishes completely, mellow, sweet, and slightly caramelized.
Serves 2–4 as a side
Ingredients
- 1 bunch red radishes from your veg box, trimmed and halved
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon honey (liquid or cream honey both work great here)
- Salt and pepper
- Fresh herbs to finish, chives, dill, or parsley
Method
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Toss the halved radishes with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet. Spread cut-side down.
- Roast for 18–20 minutes until tender and lightly caramelized at the edges.
- While still hot, toss with butter and honey until glossy.
- Transfer to a serving plate and scatter over fresh herbs. Serve warm.
Tip: These are wonderful alongside roast chicken or served on a grain bowl.
