Stamp, Save, Explore: Meet CT Kids Passport

If you’re a Connecticut parent, you know the drill. Saturday rolls around, the kids want to do something, and you end up back at the same three places because they’re easy and you know what to expect. We wanted to help with that, so we’re excited to team up with CT Kids Passport, a local program built for exactly this problem.

What is CT Kids Passport?

CT Kids Passport is a discount booklet for Connecticut families, packed with kid-friendly activities, attractions, and local businesses across the state. Think museums, farms, indoor play spaces, restaurants, and seasonal events, all in one place, with real discounts attached.

It started with a Connecticut mom of three young kids who kept running into the same problem we hear from a lot of our own customers: there are so many great local spots for families, but finding them (and actually getting out the door to visit them) can feel like a lot of work. So she built a passport that makes it simple. Pick a spot, go have fun, get a stamp, save some money.

How it works

1. Grab a passport. Passports are $20 each, and you can order one here at modernmilkman.com, at http://www.ctkidspassport.com or at a partner location. Every kid in your family can have their own.

2. Plan your outings. Inside, spots are organized by county, so it’s easy to see what’s nearby and start mapping out where to go first.

3. Visit, save, and stamp. Make an admission purchase at any participating business and they’ll stamp your passport on the spot. With discounts across dozens of locations statewide, most families save well beyond what the passport costs.

4. Collect and cash in. Fill enough stamps and you can send your passport back in for an Adventure Box, a reward for all that exploring.

The passport also includes an adventure log to track where you’ve been and where you want to go next, along with fun state facts pages for the kids to dig into along the way.

Why we love this one

This is a small, locally run program built by a Connecticut parent, for Connecticut parents. That’s the same spirit behind what we do every week: connecting families with the good stuff that’s actually nearby, whether that’s your neighbor’s dairy farm or a play space you didn’t know existed twenty minutes down the road. Supporting local businesses and making weekends a little easier and a little more fun feels like a natural fit for us.

If you’re looking for a low-effort way to discover new family spots this year without spending a fortune, this is worth checking out.
