Red, White & Blue Berry Parfaits: The Easiest Fourth of July Dessert

A glass dessert bowl filled with layers of whipped cream, strawberries, and blueberries, sitting on a wooden countertop next to stacked bowls and a kitchen towel.

If you’re heading to a backyard BBQ, feeding a crowd, or just got the text that starts with “Hey, can you bring dessert?”, these Red, White & Blue Berry Parfaits have your back.

No baking. No decorating disasters. No stress.

Just layers of juicy strawberries, blueberries, and fluffy homemade whipped cream made with Crystal Springs Heavy Cream. They’re festive, fresh, and look way fancier than the amount of effort required.

You’ll Need

  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 pint fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup Crystal Springs Heavy Cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Fresh raspberries (optional, but highly encouraged)

Looking for a lighter option?

Swap the whipped cream for Crystal Springs Raspberry, Vanilla, or Honey Strawberry Yogurt. Same red, white, and blue vibes. A little lighter. Still delicious.

How To Make It

Step 1: Whip It Good

Pour Crystal Springs Heavy Cream into a chilled bowl and whip until soft peaks form.

Add powdered sugar and vanilla if you’re feeling fancy, then whip until light and fluffy.

Step 2: Layer Like A Legend

Grab some clear glasses, mason jars, plastic cups, or one big serving bowl.

Layer:

🍓 Strawberries

🤍 Whipped cream

🫐 Blueberries

Repeat until full.

Top with extra berries and try not to eat all of them before serving.

Step 3: Serve & Celebrate

That’s it. You’re done.

Seriously.

Make It Your Way

Got raspberries? Toss them in.

Making dessert for a crowd? Use one big serving bowl and let everyone scoop their own.

Need something kid-friendly? Set out the ingredients and let everyone build their own parfait masterpiece.

No wrong answers here.
