2. When you’re ready, fill up your bag and leave it out ahead of any of your future Modern Milkman deliveries 
3. All items must fit inside with the seal closed

Only include items from the accepted list. Everything needs to be clean and fit in the bag with the seal closed.

What happens next

Your bag gets picked up by your milkman on their regular route. From there it travels to one of our hubs, where it goes straight into its dedicated recycling bin. We work with certified recycling partners to make sure your bottle caps and lids are processed to proper environmental standards, materials recovered, and nothing sent to landfill if there’s a better option.

Film plastics require specialist processing, which is why most of them end up in the trash. We route your bag to a certified facility that processes soft plastics properly, recovering material that would otherwise be lost. Every bag kept out of the waste stream is real, measurable progress.
