How it works

- Plastic container lids
- Pump and spray tops
- Condiment lids
No thanks:
- Metal caps or lids
- Glass lids
- Dirty, wet, or food-covered items
- Full bottles or containers
Only include items from the accepted list. Everything needs to be clean and fit in the bag with the seal closed.
What happens next
Your bag gets picked up by your milkman on their regular route. From there it travels to one of our hubs, where it goes straight into its dedicated recycling bin. We work with certified recycling partners to make sure your bottle caps and lids are processed to proper environmental standards, materials recovered, and nothing sent to landfill if there’s a better option.
Plastic caps and lids are made from high-density plastics that have genuine value as recovered material. Your bag goes to a certified facility where they’re processed properly and materials are recovered for reuse. It feels like a small thing. But when you add up the caps and lids from thousands of households, it becomes a meaningful volume of plastic kept out of the waste stream.
