The holidays are here, and so is one of our favorite traditions, the Modern Milkman Christmas Toy Drive.
Every December, our community amazes us with its generosity. Over the last couple of years, you’ve helped donate thousands of toys, including more than 1,100 brand-new gifts last year alone. These toys went straight to children across Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York and Ohio who needed a little extra joy on Christmas morning.
And this year?
We’re bringing the Toy Drive back, bigger and brighter than ever.
🎁 How You Can Take Part
Taking part couldn’t be easier and every single toy makes a meaningful difference.
Here’s how it works:
- Choose a new, unwrapped toy you’d like to donate.
- Pop it in a bag and leave it on your doorstep with your empties.
- Set it out on your delivery morning from December 1 through December 12.
- Your Modern Milkman driver will collect your donation during their regular route.
That’s it. A small act on your doorstep that creates a big moment for a child in your community.
🎨 What Kind of Toys Can You Donate?
We gladly accept new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages, including:
- Books and puzzles
- Stuffed animals
- Dolls
- Legos and building sets
- Coloring books and crayons
- Action figures
- Wooden toys
- Craft kits
If it brings joy, imagination, or excitement, it’s perfect.
(We just ask that toys are new and not used or damaged.)
🧡 Where Do Your Donations Go?
All toys collected across CT, MA, RI, NY and OH will be delivered to our incredible charity partners in your local areas, including:
- Wonderfund
- Tower of Toys
- Esperanza Hope
- Middlesex United Way
- Wooster OH Toys for Tots
These organizations ensure every toy reaches a child who needs a little extra cheer this holiday season.
